The first Fall out of school means more time to travel, perform, record, guest-teach, and publish books! The Ontario Suzuki Conference has invited Janice as a guest artist, masterclass clinician, and pannelist-- calling all Ontario violinists and violists to sign up for lessons, or hear Janice's show pieces and chamber music! A recording at Phase One Studios is coming up during her visit to Toronto next week, as are rehearsals for upcoming concerts, and visiting old and new friends in Toronto-- including Andrew from Andrew Kwon Artists Management. Watch for three new violin technique books on Amazon including Fudge Learns to Shift, Finger Twisters 2, and Sight-reading Songs. A recital on the Columbia University Faculty of Music series is in October. And starting up teaching at the Diller-Quaile School of Music is a new adventure.

This summer is an exciting time! Yale graduation is tomorrow, and Tom Hanks is the speaker. Watch it online here. A recording project is in the works, done in Sprague Hall. So stay tuned for it to come out in or after July (fingers crossed). A newspaper article came out a few days ago about Janice's upcoming concerts in Canada (Read it here). She collaborates with pianist Michael Berkovsky on a program of Schubert, Schumann, Paganini and more. Come to France to hear Janice play principal viola for Copeland's Appalatian Springs, Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, and pieces of composers in residence at Fontainebleau's 90th Jubilee Year and in Les Concerts du Cloitre, in Nice. Afterward, take the train to Bad Leonfelden, Austria, to hear her in masterclass with Thomas Riebl and in concerts. There may even be more Austrian performances in September... check back for updates, soon.
