Learn the foundations of drawing by practicing types of pencil and pen-and-ink strokes, copying simple pictures step-by-step, drawing from life, and free drawing from imagination using prompts or music. Work with paint and clay/play-doh/plastecine. Work with scissors using Kumon and color photos in fun patterns and themes. Do hand strengthening and coordination games relating to pencil control. Special assignments for printing, cursive, quill-and-ink, bubble letters, manuscript illustration, and other types of decorative print.
