Inspiring Music, Language, Math, and Summer Programs

Below please find course descriptions for private instrumental instruction, group Violin class, group French class, and summer instruction.

Teaching Bio

Dr. Janice LaMarre has taught at Yale University, The Juilliard School, and the Manhattan School of Music as a Teaching Fellow, and was on faculty at MSM Precollege.  Her students have been gained early acceptance to Princeton and Harvard, and have also been accepted at Cornell, Brown, Oberlin, and other excellent schools. 

 

Dr. LaMarre is fully certified as a Suzuki Violin teacher.  Her violin students have won national and international competitions and performed in Carnegie's Weill Hall.  She is currently accepting music students in Scarsdale, NY, Birmingham, MI, and Syracuse, NY.

'Ms. Janice' has tutored French and Math for the past ten years, and recently branched out into creating curriculum for beginner French and Math courses.  She taught her French 101 series in New Canaan and Greenwich, CT in the 2020-21, based on the Tatou le Matou books.  In Fall of 2021-22 she will begin Math 101 courses for age 5-7.
